Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

The music is good, and they are entertained. They can have a lot of fun especially when the gigs allow for interaction with me between the stage and the audience.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed in theaters, casinos, convention centers, country clubs, private homes, museums, performance halls, airports, children's hospitals, restaurants, and at festivals small and large.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

There have been several high profile gigs. However, my favorite was when I performed at Lincoln Center in New York City with the James Cotton Blues Band when I was a kid.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will do my best to be flexible and accommodate you to help your event run as smoothly as possible. Just let me know as soon as you think there might be a change.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We can definitely talk about that.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually set up 1 to 1.5 hours before a performance. However, I can set up in less than 30 minutes in many venues.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Yes, as long as the piano is in tune and in good working order.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We can go over the set list to include songs you would like. However, from my experience, it is best to choose songs and an order that will work best to ensure a good time for all.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

I always have my harmonicas with me. However, long distance traveling with keyboarWhen I am in the USA, I can usually bring a stage piano/keyboard and set up. When I am in the UK or another country, I may or may not have immediate access to a digital piano that I can bring. I can provide recommendations for instrument rentals if your venue does not have one.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes, depending on the song and time allowed to learn it. I do charge a song learning fee of $50 for songs not in my repertoire. This covers the time required to rehearse it.
