They can create perfect background ambience, with energy guaranteed to get feet tapping, but playing at a volume which does not intrude. Led by saxophonist Josh Kemp, the band has an impressive CV, with venues performed at including The Dorchester and Savoy Hotels, The National Gallery, King's Place, St James Palace, Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club and jazz clubs all around the country. Top london-based saxophonist, Josh is happy performing in every style from Swing to Contemporary Pop. He maintains a busy performing schedule with around 200 gigs a year. With a relaxed melodic sound, the Josh Kemp Jazz Band can bring lively swing, mellow jazz, or energetic grooves to your event. Josh won Scholarships to study at the Guildhall and Trinity College of Music, as as well as wining many awards for his playing including 'Young Jazz Band of the Year'. Since then he has played professionally in London, being house musician at London's Savoy and Dorchester Hotels, and playing at events, across the UK as well as touring with his Jazz quartet. He has released 5 albums of original music, and completed 4 Arts Council tours of the country performing his own original music .
