Joseph Wilkins

Born in London and growing up in Hertfordshire, Cardiff based Jazz vocalist Joseph Wilkins has begun entertaining audiences throughout South Wales with an effortless yet exciting approach to vocal Jazz that can fit just as well in a wedding reception as it does on the stage of a Jazz club. With a strong musical background, he transitioned into jazz through a love of Nat King Cole, Chet Baker and Ella Fitzgerald before training professionally in vocal jazz at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Extensive experience across a number of genres has given him an array of skills, providing a professional and high quality feel for all occasions, from the first walk down the aisle to dancing the night away at the reception playing music from the likes of The Beatles, Stevie Wonder and Ed Sheeran. From Lab 22 in Cardiff (voted 2nd in the UK's Top cocktail bars 2023) to the Hilton as well as countless weddings and receptions, he has created the perfect set that'll be sure to add some magic to your event Joseph will also be accompanied by some of the best instrumentalists around, regularly playing with some of the most in demand session players in the country to help provide the perfect vibe to accompany your occasion
