Joseph Lowe

British/Spanish baroque violinist and violist Joseph Lowe is a graduate at the Royal College of Music, where he studied with Professor Nathan Braude, Catherine Martin and Bojan Cicic. At his young age he has already performed in many of the most prestigious venues around Europe on tour with renowned orchestras, such as the Royal Albert Hall (UK) with the Academy of Ancient Music, the Auditorio Nacional de Madrid (Spain) with the University of Salamanca Baroque Orchestra or the Festpielhaus Baden-Baden (Germany) with the Balthasar Neumann Ensemble. Joseph has also been involved in recording with major relevant artists such as Yungblud for his BBC Live Lounge or Holly Humberstone on her newest album "Paint My Bedroom Black" (2023). He has been selected four years running for the 'Talent Project' of the Madrid Symphony Orchestra, singled out from across Spain to perform with other talented young musicians and to receive mentorship. Joseph is also a member of the Mahler Academy Orchestra, where he has had the chance of performing chamber music with other great musicians and awaits a grand European tour for the next summer. He has also been selected for the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment "Experience" scheme, where he will have the chance to work alongside their orchestral players in a variety of events. Joseph's current violin was made by Nicoló Gagliano circa 1758, generously loaned by the RCM
