Joseph Samaniego

I've worked with Joseph in a number of bands, most recently we put a group together to play for a 40th birthday party. His ability never ceases to amaze me; his musical understanding is second to none but his attention to detail in making sure the songs sound like they should is nothing short of expert. Getting the music right and being acutely sympathetic to tone and pitch is what sets him apart in my eyes. Any covers band has a hard job of doing their best to individually sound like 10 (or more) different professional musicians on the night, convincing their audience through the obvious and not so obvious detail of musicianship. This is where he excels and delivers consistently with passion and ability. I like having confidence in my band mates....he's my number one choice.

As a former recording engineer, it has been my pleasure to work with Joseph on several projects over the years including studio and live work. During this time, he has displayed exceptional creative and technical skill, as well as a diligent hard-working and professional approach to everything we’ve worked on together. As part of a live band, Joseph is enthusiastic, thoughtful, and always works with the band to help ensure we’re performing at our best. As well as his technical ability, Joseph has a great ear for arrangement and nuance which can really enhance a performance. He is great at collaborating with others, and always helps bring out the best in his bandmates. In addition to his musical aspects, Joseph is always thoroughly pleasant, enjoyable to work with and would be a fantastic asset to any project.
