Jordan Hollinrake is a contemporary solo guitarist, born in Chester, United Kingdom. His passion for the instrument began at the age of ten, and has subsequently become the focus of his professional and academic career. Jordan studied music at the University of Chester, earning a first class degree, focusing on composition and performance. With hundreds of gigs under his belt, Jordan has amassed a wealth of performing experience in a variety of different situations. Drawing inspiration from guitar greats such as Clive Carroll, Tommy Emmanuel, Django Reinhardt, Chet Atkins, Gary Moore and Eric Johnson, Jordan has developed a unique style of playing solo acoustic guitar. Within his composition/songwriting, great emphasis is placed on melody, phrasing, and creating a striking emotional impact.
