Centered around Jonny’s soulful vocals and rhythmic piano, the trio complemented by upright bass and drums specializes in the timeless standards of the Great American Songbook. Their sound is a tribute to the greats, drawing inspiration from Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Diana Krall, Michael Bublé, and the piano-driven energy of Jamie Cullum and Billy Joel. Jonny has been lucky enough to share his music at hundreds of events across the UK and Europe playing at luxury venues including The Ritz, The Savoy, Estelle Manor and The Ned, to favorites like Pizza Express, John Lewis, and Ferrari, as well as sound tracking moments for the English Royal Family, the Prince of Monaco, Eve Jobs, Tom Odell’s birthday party, Emma Watson’s gin brand launch, and the Peaky Blinders TV drama. Jonny has also Performed for the BBC, ITV, Warner Records, CBeebies, and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Unfortunately being the bride I missed part of The Trios performance however my groom and guests have assured me they played beautifully. The band played for our guests before the ceremony, during the ceremony and our drinks reception and played everything they said he would and it sounded absolutely wonderful. I had concerns about which pieces of music would be suitable for the ceremony itself and they even sent me sound clips of their suggested pieces. They did not disappoint, in fact, I was so relieved to have booked them, Jonny settled my nerves from the moment we spoke as I'd had nightmares of iPods and sound systems letting me down. They gave us the best of both worlds, a classical sound for the ceremony and more upbeat Jazz music for the drinks reception. Again, our guests absolutely loved it, they were rather disappointed we hadn't booked them for the whole day. Booking and arrangements were hassle free and very straightforward. I would highly recommend the Jonny Kerry Trio to anyone considering booking a jazz band, worth every penny.

The band were punctual, professional and extremely talented. I will definitely use them for future events. 10/10.

Do you have different line-up options?

The core trio offers a perfect balance of swing and soul, but they can easily expand the lineup to fit the mood and Jonny can also perform solo piano with or without vocals. Whether you’re looking for the warm texture of a guitar or the classic flair of a trumpet or saxophone, the ensemble scales effortlessly to suit the space.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We are flexible within reason, so if the gig is running up to one hour late we are fine with that and understand things can be delayed.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes we have a top of the range Bose sound system and can play songs of your choice or put together a playlist of similar music to ours.

How much time do you need to set up?

We need on average 40 mins to get setup

Can you roam around while you perform?

Unfortunately we cannot roam

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our Bose PA system is included in the quote. We usually require a minimum of 4 square meters of space to perform.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc.
