Hi, I'm a highly experienced bass singer in classical, choral, musicals and pop music. Excellent sight-reading ability. Based in London.

I was a Music Scholar at Eton College, singing and playing piano, violin and clarinet. I was then awarded a Choral Scholarship to King's College, Cambridge where I sang services, performed in concerts and recordings and travelled the world on tour for three years. Presently I sing in two choirs, The Cantus Ensemble (chamber choir) and London Contemporary Voices (London's leading alternative choir). My first solo EP, 'Sunrise' was released in 2016 on Banoffeesound label. My first choral composition was performed at Queen Elizabeth Hall in 2018 by LCV Choir.

We used London Contemporary Voices for our corporate event at the end of last year. Their performance was absolutely brilliant - really impactful and emotive. We had loads of great feedback from many of our 500+ attendees! I would recommend LCV to anyone as they were very friendly, punctual, accommodating (when our presentations over ran and their slot was pushed back - thanks for your patience guys!), and most importantly amazing performers. Thanks for joining us for our event!

I have known Jonathan for over three years and frequently have used him as a professional singer. He has a lovely bass voice with a wide range. He is extremely musical and a flawless sight reader. He was a regular professional singer at St Gabriel’s, Pimlico for two years and was always extremely punctual and well organised.

Jonathan depped for me at my church choir, and I have subsequently sung with him in that same group; he is punctual, has a handsome baritone sound, and works with a great professional attitude. I'd book him again in a second.

I booked Jonathan when needing a last minute soloist for Purcell's 'Dido & Aeneas'. Not only was Jonathan note-perfect in spite of the short lead time, but he was the consummate professional in terms of rehearsal, too, taking musical direction very well. Clearly a superb musician with top reading skills and a rich, warm second bass sound, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Jonathan to other directors.
