Our act started off when clients would ask Jon (piano and vocals), if he could add another musician to his act. We soon realised that the set up was so popular, sounded so full, and had such a 'wow' factor, that we just had to make this an official thing! Although we are a new band, we are two highly experinced function musicians, and the truth is, our act, and the material we play, and our experience, spans well over a decade!

Duo Bandit delivered in every way. Perfect for a summer garden party drinks on the lawn and then after dinner the dance floor was packed. I would love to book them again in the future. Even our neighbours commented on how much they enjoyed the band! Thank you to you both.

Jon has again brought joy to my home and my friends with his music - piano and voice - for my birthday party. This time, Jon was in duo form, with Matt on the drums. A winning combination. Jon also arranged for a saxophonist to complete the small musical gathering. They created such a fun atmosphere for me and guests, responding to the gathering enthusiastic crowd of singers!

Jon & Edu played our wedding last summer. Being a small wedding we didn’t want a full band as it would have been too much and I am so glad we made that decision because these guys were fantastic! Great guys, great fun and super talented. They read the room perfectly and had everyone up and dancing. Waiting for another excuse to throw a party and book them again!

Ceremony + Drinks2 musicians

Ceremony then Drinks! Jon our pianist, is highly experienced as a wedding ceremony musician. Our ceremony, plus drinks option give you the following: Ceremony: Jon performs 20 mins instrumentals as guests arrive, then a song for the isle walk, 2 songs for the signing of the register, and then a song for couple exit. Then 2 x minute sets with the Dup Bandits for the drinks reception!

What do your clients love most about your performances?

We loving creating a fun, upbeat atmosphere.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have performed everywhere from clients own homes, to up the shard, to wedding marquees!

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

We have a very wide range of repertoire, from Jazz to Pop, to Funk, to Rock. It would be impossible to choose!

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line up is piano, vocals, and drums. But we can add other musicians that we are used to playing with - for example, some jazzy / funky sax!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We are usually very flexible with timings, and will do our best to accomodate.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes

How much time do you need to set up?

45 minutes

Can you roam around while you perform?

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

yes, but please bear in mind, we know our set list, and the way we play each song, better than anyone else. So picking songs as a guide, or picking one or 2 favourites is recommended, rather that picking the set list yourself. We often play the set list by ear anyway, and go with the vibe of the crowd!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Lighting is not included, but everything else is.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We can, but this depends on the song :-)
