John studied at Trinity College of Music. He is happy playing in a variety of styles and genres. John’s orchestral work ranges from playing percussion with The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, to backing orchestra for Phil Collins and Elton John. He works as an extra player with many other orchestras, including The Royal Opera House, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Sir John Eliot Gardiner’s Orchestre Revolutionnaire e Romantique. London Chamber orchestra, Tha Academy of St Martin in the Fields. John is a regular guest principal of The Oxford Philomusica. He also is at home playing in West End musicals, and has worked on many productions including Evita, Joseph, Sweeney Todd, The Bodyguard, Spamalot, Oliver, The Woman in White, Hairspray and many more. Along with his playing, John is Head of Percussion at Radley College.
