I originally played drums in a number of bands at school and in the Harrogate and Leeds area but did a Dave Grohl and switched to guitar and vocals which I had always dabbled with too. I have played solo acoustic stuff since around 2000 and stay true to my percussive nature by incorporating beatboxing and looping into my set, as well as some harmonica. I can play lower key stuff for background music and I have done a lot of weddings and restaurant gigs as well as more uptempo stuff for private parties, pub gigs and festivals. I perform regularly with my band Refried Radio (see our page) and also as a duo with the group's other singer, Jenna. I arrange music for 4 large food festivals every year and I am a keen networker when it comes to gigging opportunities.
