We booked Joey for our original wedding date of July 2020. 2 postponements later and we finally got to have Joey play at our wedding on 31/03/22. Joey was professional and just incredible to be quite honest from start to finish. He was professional and quickly responded to emails, he is just genuinely a lovely human being and also - he’s absolutely incredible at what he does! We had so many comments from our guests about him and one of the main highlights from my wedding was dancing with our guests and singing alongside him. I also love that Joey had such a diverse range of songs for example Eminem - when we were researching wedding singers that was one of the main reasons we decided to go for Joey as we felt it was really unique. Thank you so much for everything Joey, you really are the best!!!

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will always be as flexible as possible for you, and I understand that timings can sometimes change! Especially if you are booking quite far in advance, you might not be certain on your timings yet. The best thing to do is just let me know as soon as possible about any potential changes and I will do my best to accommodate, but this is usually fine!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I can provide a pre-mixed background DJ set of music before, in between and after performances if you would like as part of my fee! No extra charge. How wonderful is that?

How much time do you need to set up?

I admittedly quite speedy on my set up, but I always like to set up around an hour before I'm due to perform. If you want me to set up any earlier, just let me know!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

I have an extensive set list of songs that I perform from, and what I always advise is having a conversation about the atmosphere you want to create. It will give me an idea of what you like and I'll shape the set around that! If there are any extra songs you love that aren't on there, give me a shout and I'll let you know if I'm able to play them.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, you don't need to worry about any technical wizardy! I have everything for a live event, both big and small.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

I am always adding to my repertoire, so there is a chance I might know your request already! If you have a special request just let me know what it is and I will let you know if it is possible for me to cover. If it is possible, I will learn one song free of charge for you prior to the event.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I always get comments on my repertoire. I am proud to say that I play some tracks that I've never heard another solo acoustic singer cover! My set is absolutely full of surprises, and I love the look on peoples faces when they hear the opening chords or lyrics to a song they never thought they'd see performed live.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I have a really wide taste in music and I think this shows in my set list. My first love is actually pop punk/emo and sometimes the popular ones sneak into my set! I am also obsessed with the late 90s and early 2000s. This means Pop, Indie and incredibly cheesy R&B and Hip Hop tracks. My favourite band is Green Day if you must know!
