Joel Nulsen

Joel was a choral scholar at Trinity College Cambridge under Stephen Layton for four years. During that time he was taught by Ann De Renais and Roderick Earle, toured to Germany, the United States and Australia, and recorded six CDs with Hyperion Records. Since then he has become involved in the choral scene in London and beyond, particularly enjoying his work with the Carice Singers, with whom he recorded a disk of Parry for the BBC Music Magazine in 2018. He has more recently forayed into the world of barbershop singing, first with Fitzwilliam Barbershop at Cambridge (who enjoyed a very successful run at the Fringe in 2016), and later with Silver Street, who debuted in national competitions in 2018.
