Joe performed over one thousand shows during his three and a half years working in the show/pit band for Princess Cruises as drummer/musical director - backing production shows, guest acts/cabaret, jazz sets and pop/rock sets. Joe now performs function gigs, tribute gigs, jazz gigs, reggae gigs, pop gigs, rock gigs, big band/Ratpack swing gigs, production shows/musicals around the country. Most recently for Mark Anthony (Internationally renowned Elvis Impersonator), Take That Live and The Ragdolls (Frankie Vallie). Joe is able to play to a click track, is strong reader and very hard worker who will always be fully prepared for any gig. Studied at the Academy of Contemporary Music, prior to this studied with a top UK teacher, Dave Tyas, for 10 years, currently studying with legendary UK teacher - Dave Hassell. Straight out of university Joe did a residency gig for 8 months at a Warner Leisure Hotel playing dozens of styles including pop, funk, soul, motown, swing and rock, 5 days a week as well as backing guest Cabaret acts. Overall, 7 years of professional gigs. Joe has all his own gear including a reliable car, different drum sets to match different settings, full set of drum mics and dozens of cymbals!
