Hi I’m Joe, a backing track artist who covers songs from the 1960s right through to current day charts. The genres I cover are Soul, Pop, Country, Motown, Reggae and Northern Soul. I’m comfortable on a stage and in front of large audiences. In my career which spans 25 years, I’ve worked in some of the best venues from Teesside to Blackpool, working alongside comedians, singers and celebrities from yesteryear. The Krankies, Mick Miller, Joe Longthorne and others. I have a repertoire of over 400 songs and can learn new songs upon request.

We booked Joe to perform his Soul and Motown Show in our little pub. The feedback we received was very positive and he’s booked to come back at Christmas, then for three dates in 2026. He is such a great entertainer. As a footnote, most of our customers prefer bands and musicians, but Joe won them over.

Joe performed at our wedding in July. It was only a small function with 60 guest but Joe entertained each and everyone of us. I asked Joe to perform two songs for us, The House Of Bamboo and Westlife’s My Love. He performs those songs as he’d written them himself. Joe helped make our day that extra special. I’ve passed joes details over to Two guests for private parties.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I can accommodate as I treat to be flexible. Just let me know and we can go from there.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes I am a for an additional £100 for disco and an additional £150 for karaoke.

How much time do you need to set up?

70 to 90 minutes

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes of course.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes absolutely, I supply everything required for me to perform.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Yes as long as I have at least 6 weeks notice to learn material. I don't charge for a learning fee.
