I am now starting my fifth year of studying in Oxford. For my first four years, I was the organ scholar at Balliol College, where I was responsible for managing chapel music, including running and directing the choir, and accompanying weekly services of choral evensong. I was also organist for the Frideswide Voices for a year and a half. When not busy with these jobs, I am often depping in and around Oxford as an organist, conductor or singer. I have also played the violin for many years, and have been involved in many high-standard orchestras and ensembles while in Oxford. I am experienced both with larger orchestral playing and have had much chamber music experience, including playing with the Bate Players - Oxford's student historically informed performance ensemble.

Joseph is an outstanding violinist, in addition to his skills as an organist and choral director. He is very experienced at performing to a variety of audiences, including weddings, as a recitalist, and with orchestra. I have worked with Joe for four years now, and his professionalism, aptitude, and commitment to performing to a high standard are exemplary. I would highly recommend Joseph as a violinist and organist.
