Experienced solo and choral Soprano currently studying Music (BA) at University of York, member of National Youth Choir of GB.
I recently performed with the very talened soprano at a recital at the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral. Jocelyn performed an aria by Handel and performed beautifully, but gave the aria her own unique mark, which stole the show! I would recommend Jocelyn to anyone as she is very approachable, professional and happy to help whenever possible!Dylan McCaig 8 September 2017
Jocelyn began her musical life as a Cathedral Chorister at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral at the age of 8 for two years and then went on to become one of the founding members of Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral's Girls Choir at the age of 11. After 6 years, she carried on as a choral student at the Catholic Cathedral, which included being a founding member of the Cathedral's Youth Choir. During this time she has built up a wealth of freelance singing in churches and venues in and around Liverpool as well as singing in choirs. Since 2016 she has been a member of the National Youth Choir of Great Britain performing under the baton of Ben Parry and more recently, Stephen Layton. She is now in her second year studying Music at the University of York as a first study soprano. She sings as part of The 24 under the direction of Robert Hollingsworth, as well as other student choirs of varying genres. She has also enjoyed being part of the University's Opera Society's production of Ravel's L'Enfant et les sortileges.
