A lot has happened, wish I could tell you all of it! An autodiddact on many instruments, I've been privileged to work with so many great musicians. Running open mics and playing music as a hobby at school, I was always exploring new music. Starting in the classical realm, I branched out into my irish folk roots, and enjoy playing with many consorts. In the week, I run the Erdington Arts Forum, teach at a school, teach privately, play church organ, run gigs, anything exciting and freelance. I've especially enjoyed conducting choirs, such as church and community choirs, and joining scratch bands and playing with creatives at short notice. This year is the year I capitalise on all this experience, and make sure I love all the bands I'm in. Celtic Clan - perfect for weddings, amazing lively sound, brilliant talent and experience - so lucky to be playing with them! I LOVE playing with Celebration of Life - phenomenal music, with a jazz residency and various other gigs. Type in Sandra Daniels Hooley - brilliant craic, spiritually fulfilling, genuine (irish) roots music with a few cheeky country and pop tunes thrown in. Ire-ish - best known by their local parody "Fairytale of New Street", a fresh take on irish music. Duo Luminoso - what a privilege to play with Alicja Maciejowska, a wonderful violin sound, a love of high music, and with my love of wanting to share it.
