Joachim Sabbat is a London-based Bass/Bass-Baritone, having previously studied at Durham University, both at undergraduate and postgraduate level. He currently sings with the Iken Scholars, under the directorship of Matthew Dunn, as well as occasionally cantoring at Westminster Cathedral. Whilst at Durham, Joachim sang with Hatfield College Chapel Choir and University College Chapel Choir, as well as singing for the Cathedral Consort of Voices. Additionally, he was involved with Durham Opera Ensemble, playing roles such Morales (Carmen), the Drunk Poet/Bottom (Fairy Queen) and Somnus (Semele). Joachim also spent his gap year singing at Truro Cathedral.
