If you're in need of that final atmospheric touch at your, wedding, restaurant or event - I'm your gal! I perform cosy, acoustic renditions of pop/funk classics, with the occasional intimate ballad. My style is relaxed, and I'm comfortable talking on the mic, singing happy birthday, making announcements etc and :) Please note I am based in South Birmingham until December 2025 from which point I’ll be nearer Surrey/London. Experience I'm originally a classically trained pianist with Grade 8. My 'moulding' as a musician started in my family church, leading worship for Sunday services from the age of 16 and learning the guitar along the way. I then went on to do a Contemporary Performance degree in vocals. I've performed for 9 weddings so far as a solo musician, even a proposal (!), and lots of functions with a full band! I love ballads and upbeat in equal measure, am a happy bunny either in the foreground or background, and love showing different sides to my musicianship. Equipment I can bring along a small PA system and set up unassisted within 30 minutes. Some notes and tips for weddings and events (imo): -Hire live music that will accompany, not distract from what’s happening at your event -I can play accompanying backing tracks through my speaker (it works via Bluetooth to minimise on cables) to bring more of a fuller sound to a few of the songs. -I would advise this for every 5th/6th song if you’re hiring a solo musician. Setting up a track can add a slight gap between songs, so throwing them in sporadically keeps the flow. -For your aisle song or first dance, you may be hearing something specific in your head, so give your musician as much detail as possible even if it sounds like gobbledygook :) For your wedding I'd love to: -Sing/play an intimate arrangement of the song of your choice as you walk down the aisle -Play for your guests during the signing of the register -Bring a live, chill acoustic set to your drinks reception, from traditional styles to pop covers -Sing/play for your first dance -Play all the classic love songs or take unique requests - Paramore anyone?!
