Jess is an accomplished pianist and vocalist based in the UK. Although classically trained from age seven, she plays a diverse range of styles and tailors set lists to her clients' preferred genres and artists. Her softer singing style combines vibrato and smoothness for the perfect ceremony vibe, yet she can deliver the powerful and playful vocals required for more upbeat performances. As a professional composer and arranger, Jess can also create unique versions of your favourite songs for those milestone moments (e.g. walking down the aisle or the first dance). Even if that means turning your most-loved dance track into a ballad, she's up for the challenge! Jess uses an industry-standard Nord keyboard and a high-quality QSC PA system.

Jess played for our wedding & we couldn’t have asked for more. I spent a while picking a singer (didn’t think I was picky but turns out I am) and I loved her voice. Communication was great, she happily learnt some new songs for us & on the day it was everything I’d hoped for. Her playing & singing was beautiful & created a lovely atmosphere. Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I have been influenced by musicians from lots of different times and genres. Some include Tori Amos, The Corrs, The Beatles, Jason Mraz and Billy Joel.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Every gig is great fun, but some highlights have included two sold out performances at The Swan Theatre in High Wycombe (1000+ capacity per night) and a private gig for a very exciting celebrity client (unfortunately, it's a secret who!)

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I appreciate timings can change and I will always do my utmost to accommodate this for you.

How much time do you need to set up?

My set up is simple and space-efficient, but I always want to ensure it is tidy, safe and sounding as great as possible! I therefore usually ask for 30-45 minutes set up time.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Yes, of course - as long as the piano is in working order and in tune, then I'm happy to play on it!”

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

I am very happy to discuss your personal preferences for your event and make sure your favourites are included.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes, I perform using a Nord keyboard which is light, portable and very high quality. I am more than happy to bring this to your event. It also allows me to use a range of sounds, including rhodes and wurli (electric piano) in addition to the classic piano sound.
