I've been in love with performing music for many years now... so much so that I gave up a career in Medicine for it, so my heart is always found in the songs I sing. I have build up my music business over many years to become one of the UK’s most in-demand singer/pianists, playing either solo or with my band of all sizes. My style is natural and soulful and I have a huge repertoire of my own arrangements of jazz, blues, pop and soul classics". I can perfectly re-create for you the intimate atmosphere of a NY piano bar accompanied the sounds of Elton John, Billy Joel and Stevie Wonder. I will capture the romance of the Jazz, Swing era, playing foot-tapping Sinatra or Bobby Darin classics; emulate the blues and soul vibe of Ray Charles or the lilting sounds of Bob Marley and Bobby McFerrin. It’s for these reasons I've been honoured to entertain at top locations in London and the UK; The Shard, The Boisdale, The Arts Club, Claridges and the Dorchester Hotel. In addition, I've headlined at iconic jazz venues such as the North Sea Jazz Festival, Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club, PizzaExpress Live and The Jazz Café. In 2019 I was selected to play the main stage at the Love Supreme Festival on the same bill as Jamie Cullum and Lauryn Hill. This was a career highlight. My recordings have been played on BBC Radio 4's Desert Island Discs, BBC6 Craig Charles show and Jazz FM Over the years I've been selected to entertain high end clients like the Americas Cup Sailing Regatta, the UEFA Champions League Final, Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss, Manchester United, Visit Britain, NW Regional Tourism Awards, Selfridges, Kodak, KPMG and Shell UK I also like interacting with guests, where appropriate. “London Jazz Review” magazine described me as “a charming and witty front-man, one of his skills being that he can make the audience feel immediately at ease”.
