Versatile and expressive, Jennifer is an award-winning lever harpist, singer and songwriter with over 20 years professional experience.

Widely known as one of Britain’s best and most innovative players of the lever harp, Jennifer is also a highly regarded songwriter, singer, multi-instrumentalist, recording artist and composer. Since first coming to attention in the BBC Young Tradition Award, she has released a string of intelligent, finely-crafted albums spanning Celtic, English and Americana traditions, attracting plaudits from Bob Harris, BBC Radio 2 and the folk press. She has appeared on national television and radio, and features throughout the music for the BBC David Attenborough series ‘The Private Life of Plants’. Jennifer performs across the UK and abroad and has toured and recorded with many artists and bands, including Eddi Reader, Boo Hewerdine, Andy Davis (The Korgis), Miranda Sykes and Eliza Carthy MBE. Jennifer’s varied musical career and experience working within different genres has given her a broad palette to draw upon, and which she continues to expand. She has played at numerous weddings and functions over 20 years and is able to respond to the atmosphere and adapt her instrumental repertoire to fit the event. She also runs courses and workshops in harp, arranging, songwriting and performance skills, and is available for online lessons and recording sessions.
