Jemima Small

About to graduate from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama (RWCMD) after studying for 4 years, Jemima is a professional harpist with a wealth of experience. Having been awarded a scholarship to RWCMD as well as the Robina Dallmeyer Award in 2017. This was for for musical endeavour where she gave a recital and talked about her year of winning the award. She has played with various orchestras, including the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama Symphony Orchestra as well as being principle harpist with the Junior Guildhall Symphony Orchestra and the Berkshire Youth Symphony Orchestra. Highlights with these include, playing in the Royal Albert Hall and touring China and Italy. Currently, Jemima is a Teaching Ambassador for the Benedetti Foundation. As well as orchestras, Jemima has experience of playing in a wide range of settings, from church weddings to civil ceremonies, to solo recitals, to private functions and parties. No genre is off limit. She can play anything from pop songs, through to Disney as well as classical pieces and general background music, but she is always delighted to learn new pieces to personalise any event and can take requests to make your event more special and bespoke.
