Jef Clark

Born in the North East of England and of Scottish descent, Jef is currently based in the South West of England, He is a known and highly respected singer-guitarist songwriter in Southern Germany, Luxembourg and Switzerland where he was previously based. He has played over a thousand gigs in more than thirty countries including Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Norway, Denmark and France, to name but a few. He began his career singing in heavy metal bands. After self- teaching himself guitar he started out as a busker in the London underground. He soon became an in demand performer on the pro gig circuit. He has played over a thousand gigs in more than thirty countries. Jef is also a very talented songwriter and has sold over 12 000 original albums to date as well as making TV and radio appearances. He recorded his first album "God Life and Love" in Capetown South Africa. This was followed by "Siren Song", recorded in Bali and features top Indonesian guitarist Gede Ade Kasuma. Jef is currently working on a third album, "On Eagles wings", employing the not inconsiderable talents of ex Wishbone Ash guitarist Muddy Manninen,whose playing has been described as "incredible." Jef's songwriting is inspired by his Christian faith and he is equally at home singing worship songs in the church as he is performing in clubs and pubs on the professional gig circuit. His voice is nothing short of stunning, an incredible vocal range that is powerful and soulful. Gifted for sure but honed through years of hard work. His guitar work is exceptional, blending rhythm and lead effortlessly.
