Having previously worked as both a radio and TV presenter, Jean-Paul has learned how to use his voice to entertain the public well before he began to sing professionally. He moved into singing because he felt a genuine desire to entertain people with the emotional content in songs to allow listeners to connect with sincere emotions. Much of Jean-Paul's song choices have lyrics and melodies written solidly about falling in love, or losing love, life events he feels very passionately about. The artists he performs his tribute act to, have all been recognised as masters in their music genres for decades. Although he has performed all over the UK, as well as Barbados, Jean-Paul's career highlight to date has been his performance at Proud, Embankment in 2024, where he performed at an award ceremony.
