Josephine Arthur was superb at our Birthday Celebrations. She is a sublime jazz singer with a unique voice and genuinely warm personality. It was a pleasure to hear her perform fresh takes on the standards and contemporary songs too. The guests all loved her, and she made the evening. Couldn't be better.

Jo and her band were absolutely perfect for our special celebration. Her repertoire of songs was amazing, she helped us choose the perfect play list for the reception and even performed requests on the day. She was a true professional, she looked the part and with her fellow musicians set up ready for their live performance with no bother at all. The live jazz music was a fantastic addition to our party and a real pleasure to listen to. We just had to book Jo again for a 50th birthday in September 2019!

Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes, I will gladly sing with any line up, from duo upwards - I have lots of contacts with jazz players so can add any instrument as requested. Example: Vocals, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Piano, Trumpet, Sax, Trombone..etc..

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We do allow some flexibility as events do change, if timings change slightly just let us know, if they do significantly change - ie beyond 90 minutes - prices will be renegotiated. As this may have a knock on effect with my band musicians and other commitments they have. etc.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes, we provide this for an additional £100.

Can you roam around while you perform?
