Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Yes - Always either 1 or 2 singers from the video/s. We work with several strong frontmen which are all featured in the different videos inside our profile. Based on your line-up we will suggest the best lead vocalist, or you can request a specific vocalist you liked from any video.

Do you have different line-up options?

The band is available from solo jazz musician up to an 8 piece band. Based on your event & preferences we can either recommend a band line-up, or you can request specific instruments. Available instruments: Vocals, piano, sax, clarinet, double bass, guitar, drums, trumpet, trombone.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

When you book with us, we keep that date & time in our diary just for you. We understand that timings for any event can vary and always remain as flexible as possible within reason, while communicating with you prior to and throughout the event. Please note: Additional fees may apply for finishing after midnight (in line with Musician Union regulations).

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

All our bookings include a bespoke DJ playlist service throughout the event, tailored with all your song requests. Live DJ sets are also available at a special price.

How much time do you need to set up?

2-3pc = 1-2hrs 4-5pc = 2hr 5-6pc = 2-3hr 7-8pc = 3hrs * Generally, the earlier we can get in the better * Timings vary based on the amount of lighting required * Setup is normally quiet, besides the last 15-30min of sound check * When dining & entertainment happen in the same hall, some venues supply a divider screen for the band to setup behind during meal

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

You can select ALL your songs, and even select some songs which aren’t on our list. We love learning new songs, and ensuring your show is fully-tailored and unique to your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Indeed. Remember, bands can only sound as good as the amplification they’re playing through. That's why we use PAT tested high-end amplification, as well as party, stage & mood lighting with a dedicated engineer, to ensure everything looks & sounds just right all throughout your event. * Make sure to ask your venue whether or not they use a noise limiter.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes. Learning new songs keeps us quick on our feet and keeps our repertoire fresh. This will normally be free of charge. * In case you have an exceptional request (i.e song arrangement for a large band or a large number of songs especially prepared) we may have to charge a bit extra.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients tend to rave about the band’s high level of showmanship & crowd engagement, as well as our warm & friendly approach, bespoke service and special attention to detail.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Wedding venues, hotels, members clubs, sports clubs, theatres, bars, restaurants, festivals, markets, fairs.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Nina Simone, Dean Martin, Billy Holiday, Ray Charles, Nat King Cole.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Hurlingham Club, Hospital Club, Bloomberg, KPMG, TEZENIS to name a few.

I can’t express enough how happy we are that we choose this band. They made my mums surprise 60th birthday party a night to remember! They were extremely professional & listened to our requests prior to the event & excelled our expectations on the night. We gave them a playlist of my mums favourite songs to incorporate in the night & they put their own twist on the songs so they fit perfectly with the 1920s party theme. The whole room was up & dancing & they created an amazing atmosphere. They are so versatile and extremely talented that I would definitely use them again for any future event. All the guests raved about them and said what a wonderful night they had. Thanks again Jess, her family & friends x

Thanks for your support last night. The music was great! It was a fantastic evening. Also thank you very much for the additional speakers and microphone set up downstairs, that was very helpful. Overall a quality band, professional, very accommodating and thoughtful.
