Jay Fearon

Hi! I’m Jay, a 31-year-old multi-instrumentalist based in Liverpool. I’ve been writing and playing music for over 15 years. I have a lot of experience both live and in the studio, on several instruments and in many different roles. I have a passion for music which spans many genres, and this hopefully comes across in my playing and the arrangements of my covers. Through this profile, I perform as a solo act on acoustic guitar, where I tend to play covers of folk, pop, rock, blues etc. (I also play in a duo or full band for certain events so if this interests you, we can connect via a different encore profile). Where possible, I like to put a different spin on classic songs and tend to choose the songs with more interesting guitar parts, or try to make them more interesting myself. My song list is a pretty mixed bag but should hopefully give you a flavour of the versatility in my taste and what I’m willing to play. It’s not comprehensive by any stretch and I’m always expanding my repertoire. If you want a set that leans into a particular genre or artist, just ask! It might even be my favourite band… On that note, I am building a small clutch of artist-themed sets for anyone who wants an acoustic “tribute” set for an event.
