Jasper Salmon

Jasper is……… … a fiddle player based in Mid Wales who has played and recorded extensively with a variety of artists since the early ’90s. Currently, these are primarily the award winning folk noirists Songdog, and Aberystwyth based The Hicksters. Past work includes long term collaborations, both live and in the studio, as well as one off sessions with artists as diverse as Mabon, Back to Basics, Triban, Eric Gavin, Bill Fleming, Dave Sutherland, Paul Riley, Jay Chance and many more. Equally at home in folk, blues,country, rock’n’roll, he combines elements of all these genres to produce his own unique playing style.
