Jasmine

I am a classically trained violinist, well versed in playing in a range of contexts from solo to orchestral, from classical to musical theatre. My performances have taken me to many prestigious venues, including the Royal Albert Hall, St John's Smith Square, Birmingham Symphony Hall, and have also recorded in the famous Abbey Road Studios. I have performed as a concerto soloist, and also have experience leading orchestras as well as working in chamber music ensembles. I have also played in a number of musical theatre productions, most recently leading the orchestra in a production of Chess. I have currently just finished studying for an MA in music performance, and I also hold a 1st Class (Hons) BMus Performance degree. During my studies, I explored repertoire crossing a variety of styles and genres, from classical, to pop and musical theatre. My playing style has been described as vibrant and engaging, with the essence of enjoyment of music at its core. I have experience playing for a variety of private and public functions, marking a number of different occasions. No request is too big or small - just ask and I will see what I can do! I am committed to making your event special. I will work with you to discuss your vision, and will use my vast knowledge of the repertoire to tailor my playing to the atmosphere you wish your event to have. I can play as a solo violinist with backing tracks, or, upon request (for an additional fee), you can book one of my ensembles (piano trio, string/multiwoodwind trio, or piano/violin duo). Any other combination of instruments can be requested, and I will be more than happy to organise this.
