I always loved music, specially percussion, but I started with flute. After three years, I changed to percussion because finally they openned a vacancy for me. Since then, I've been studying this instrument. I feel that if you want to be the best you got to fight and work really hard. I had masterclasses with: Pedro Carneiro and Marco Fernandes ( famouses portuguese percussionists). I played several times with Classic Orchestra of Madeira. I played solo four times xylophone with a Philharmonic Band " Banda Municipal do Funchal- Artistas Funchalenses". I also played timpani twice with the Young Orchestra of Official Conservatoires of Music conducted by Ernst Schelle(2015) and Pedro Andrade (2016) (to enter in this orchestra is necessary to carry out tests and this only takes place once a year). I played twice in a festival in Portugal " Dias da Música em Belém 2015 and 2016"- famous musical festival in Portugal were I played timpani with the young orchestra. And finally I went to a jazz masterclass ( drums) with Alexandre Frazão- famous portuguese jazz drummer. I also have experience in playing in a wind orchestra and I already played percussion in a latin group. I went on ERASMUS to Finland ( Lahti) for three weeks.
