Hi everyone, my name is Jamie, I am 27 years old, live in West London but went to school in Edinburgh. I have been playing the pipes since I was 7 years old and have competed in multiple tournaments and performances over that time, most notably for Princess Anne. I have a wide repertoire spanning from traditional Scottish classics to some pop songs which might not be expected at times! I think my girlfriend would attest that my pipes are the other long term relationship in my life and I have had a deep love of the instrument all my life! It is rare that you get a piper that is the talk of the event but Jamie's showmanship, character and crowd presence certainly will do just that! True pleasure to have him pipe at my charity event and enabled me to raise so much for my London Marathon efforts. I owe Jamie a huge amount of thanks for making the event such a success in his own unique way!

At Royal Mid Surrey the burn Night has become something of a monster event! Jamie rose to the occasion with so much energy and truly led us into what can only be described as a musical medley that saw us Ceilidh dancing away until the wee hours! Smiley, polite and friendly he is willing to take direction and execute a great performance at the drop of the hat. Thanks Jamie and here's to next year! Best GM

The contemporary nature of it and my interaction with the crowd and being up for a good time!

Holyrood Palace, Royal Mid-Surrey Golf Club, Queens Club, Thames Boat Club, Westminster Abbey.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

The Red Hot Chilli Pipers

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Probably when we played in a band for Princess Anne

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Very flexible within reason just need due notice of 24hrs if things are going to be changing.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes I can if needed- IPhone and Spotify playlist (I have some bangers)

How much time do you need to set up?

Need to tune up and get in position and familiarise myself with surroundings but overall 30mins max

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Yes of course!

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes all my own equipment!
