About James

James has years of experience as an organist (ARCO) and recitalist in many churches. He is also a pianist and choir trainer.

James was born in 1974 and studied music at Selwyn College, Cambridge. He is a composer and was joint winner of the first BBC Young Musician Composers' Prize in 1992. James was Director of Music at Wimbledon High School for 10 years and also organist of two large London churches. He has 20 years of experience playing for concerts and church services for various denominations, and holds the ARCO organ diploma. He currently lives and works as a teacher and freelance musician in Yorkshire.
