James Reinhardt

Predominantly an alto and tenor saxophonist but also able to play soprano, baritone saxophone and clarinet (including bass clarinet). Diploma level at both instruments, classically trained but experienced in a wide variety of jazz, function and DJ sets. Alto saxophone 1 for the Edinburgh University Jazz Orchestra, for whom I have also played baritone saxophone. I also regularly play in pit bands for musicals around Edinburgh, such as Edinburgh University Footlights' production of Grease during the Edinburgh fringe. I have years of experience in playing in smaller ensembles, such as more traditional function bands and jazz quartets and quintets. I am also experienced in performing with DJs at various events. Some of the house music I have recorded is available via Spotify on my profile Open to any gigs but prefer saxophone gigs as that is my primary instrument.
