Hello I'm James Merlin a singer and guitarist based in York who has performed at many iconic venues including The Joseph Rowntree Theatre and Hardrock Cafe. I've even played a surprise proposals in the Yorkshire Museum Gardens. A former member of Beatles tribute band The Threetles, I bring both timeless classics and modern hits so there is something for everyone. 🎶 Repertoire spanning 50s classics to modern hits 💍 Weddings, proposals & special occasions ⭐️ Over 10 years experience I want to make my performance work for you and go the extra mile to make it a special day. I’ll be eager to hear your ideas straight from the off and start working with you to make your event magical. I provide my own battery powered PA which means that if there are no plug sockets it’s not a problem! I hired James to play one song for a private gig in York, where I was visiting and had planned to propose to my girlfriend.Having not visited York before, James was really helpful, providing information and suggestions which helped me with planning. That shouldn't be a problem. I always build some flexibility around the event so if timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let me know.
