James Mawson

I approach every gig with a can-do attitude and a smile. As a strong sight reader I'm comfortable being thrown in at the deep end, and have plenty of experience of working without dots too. My experience spans dozens of styles and situations - I always like a challenge! I cut my teeth in singing as a chorister (aged 8) at King's Cambridge, went on to a music scholarship at college, and then back to King's as a choral scholar. In this time I had the great privilege of performing and recording with some of the world's leading soloists, ensembles, orchestras, directors, producers, composers and more, in concert halls, churches, and recording studios around the world.
