My name is James Leslie and I’m a acoustic singer/ songwriter from Huddersfield! I play all over the north of England, Leeds, Manchester, York, Barnsley and more locally to myself, Holmfirth and Yorkshire. Throughout the year I’ve opened for Heather Small (m people) and played at Neil Warnock’s Huddersfield town leaving party at the Huddersfield town hall as well as having the opportunity to sing with Bob Marley’s cousin James Malcolm. I play mostly covers but I write my own music too (EP coming soon!)and play that in my sets as well whether it be opening for bands at bigger venues or playing at festivals, pubs, clubs and weddings you name the occasion. He is a very talented and professional musician and kept the mood high throughout the evening with well known classics and even his own originals which were a fantastic addition to the evening! What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I try my best to be as flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible - contact us at your earliest to advise.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

I can provide PA system for additional cost by prior arranegment.

How much time do you need to set up?

I usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

My set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

“Yes, absolutely! I bring my own instrument to play acoustically.”

Can you learn song requests before the event?

“If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc. ”
