James is an experienced guitarist, singer and songwriter from Bournemouth. As a scholarship graduate of The Guitar Institute in London, James has experience of playing weddings and events all over London, the south coast of England and overseas. James spent 7 years in London where he received regular bookings at The London Hilton hotels and on the London gig circuit where he shared the stage with artists such as, Rebecca Ferguson and James Bay. His music repertoire appeals to a range of guests, ranging from modern acoustic pop to old time classic soul and Motown. His vocal sound has been compared to artists such as Ed Sheeran, James Morrison and The Lumineers. With an approachable and people friendly nature, James aims to make each booking an enjoyable experience, and enjoys working with clients to make sure he meets their requirements. For weddings, James enjoys meeting with couples prior to the big day (in person or via Skype) and working with you to build a service that is unique to you as a couple. His personal touch sets the scene for a boutique style wedding and affordable packages are available for either your wedding ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast or evening arrivals and first dance.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

If an iPod with a playlist is provided, I can play this through my PA in between sets.

How much time do you need to set up?

Set up and sound check roughly takes between 20 minutes and 45 minutes depending on the venue.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

You're welcome to select your favourite songs from my set list.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, I have a Bose L1 compact PA system and for larger gigs I also add a Bose S1 Pro Speaker.
