Inside the box is the Ceilidh project of highly respected fiddle player James Delarre, Alex Goldsmith and top Ceilidh caller Andrew Mussell, primarily going out as a duo with caller. This fantastic Ceilidh band reunites James Delarre (Fiddle) and Alex Goldsmith (diatonic button accordion) two founder members of the awarding-winning folk band Mawkin (and the spin-off Mawkin:Causley). The two have delighted audiences around the world on stage and TV and regularly work with other high profile artists including the Mercury Award nominee Eliza Carthy, Jim Moray plus the popular Anglo French supergroup Topette! A friendly caller – Andrew – completes the core line-up and will ensure that everyone is encouraged to get up and dance and they will know what the moves are – well, roughly at least… it’s always the chaos that makes a ceilidh most fun!

Can you perform covers?

Yes we can with notice, although there will be a charge for learning material not already within our repertoire

Do you have different line-up options?

From 2-4 piece Ceilidh band plus the essential caller, the two piece is fiddle and accordion, then add a guitar, add a flute or bass

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We are always flexible and will help you to ensure that things run smoothly, we are willing to play for an extra 15mins if thing overrun without extra charges
