I am a composer of operas, My first opera tells the story of Saint Dorothy and was performed in 2015. My second opera 'The Dying thoughts of Richard Baxter' tells the story of the troubled Puritan theologian. My third opera, 'Jane the Quene' tells the tragic story of Lady Jane Grey, the teenaged queen who reigned for nine days in 1553. Subsequently I finished a biblical 'ring cycle' of four operas: Luluwa, Abishag, Gomer & Hosea and Mary Magdalene. After that I completed my eighth opera 'Epithalamium' and my ninth opera "Thekla and Paul' the story of a young woman who fell in love with Paul the Apostle. Apart from opera, I have composed nine symphonies and many choral works, including 'A Carrollean Symphony' settings of poetry by Lewis Carroll and also a programme symphony 'Jude the Obscure Symphony' inspired by Thomas Hardy's controversial last novel. My song cycle 'Liebestod Symphony' is a set of songs mainly about Richard Wagner.
