James has recently had media success with his band The Light Disciples and had BBC airplay with a song he wrote and produced '' Wont You Guide Me " which can be downloaded from this site . Along with his Saxophone skills, James also writes music for Media companies on request and teaches music in schools . James has experience performing alongside with DJ's , having been a regular Sax player at Revs de Cuba , Nottingham and performed regularly at the Nottingham Summer Ibiza " Playa day Club " in the Market out door arena with top DJ's from around the UK in front of a full house . Wow !! We recently booked James to come and play at our wedding reception and he absolutely amazed us and our guests. We spoke prior to to the wedding and discussed what songs he was to play and timings which he delivered perfectly on the night . James played some songs with his backing tracks to fill the space between the speeches and the DJ starting and then came on for a second set with the DJ. James engaged with the guests and everyone commented on how brilliant and exceptionally talented James was, playing a mixture of ibiza classics and pop songs . What a perfect addition to our wedding ,thank you so much for creating a fabulous atmosphere , we are so grateful. Leanne Hallam (Wedding) 10/10

What do your clients love most about your performances?

If you check my reviews, most clients comment on my professional attitude in terms engaging with guests and giving a 100 percent performance . I always play a few extra songs at the end of the duration stated as this gesture is a token of my appreciation for booking my services and I'm always flexible with timings on your event date.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed at prestigious charity award events around the UK and worked for Revs de Cuba at events through out the UK. I specialise in Wedding ceremonies and have performed at most major venues in England .

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I studied Jazz music at University and I listen and try to emulate the style of David Sandborn .

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I've performed for X Factor celebrities at private events such as Chloe Khan ( check my reviews) and football team party events over the years including Liverpool FC.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

“We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.”

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

“Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes, we provide this for an additional £100.”

How much time do you need to set up?

“We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!”

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

“Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

“Yes, absolutely! I bring my own instrument to play acoustically.”

Can you learn song requests before the event?

“If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc. ”
