From the earliest moments I can remember, music has been at the center of my life. It was never just background noise — it was a language I instinctively understood, a world I felt I belonged to. Growing up, I was surrounded by sound, constantly drawn to instruments, rhythms, and melodies. That early curiosity quickly blossomed into a deep passion, and over the years, music has become more than just something I do — it’s become part of who I am. I’ve been fortunate to perform in a wide variety of settings, from humble beginnings in small local bars and open mic nights to some of the most iconic stages in the world, including the Royal Albert Hall. Each venue, no matter the size or prestige, has offered its own unique energy and challenge. I’ve learned that it’s not about how many people are in the audience — it’s about the connection you create with them through music. Whether playing for 10 or 10,000, I give everything I have on stage. One of the aspects I’ve most enjoyed in my journey is the opportunity to become a multi-instrumentalist. I play a range of instruments, and each one allows me to express a different part of myself. From the soulful tones of the piano to the rhythmic heartbeat of percussion, from acoustic storytelling with the guitar to experimenting with electronic elements, I’ve always found joy in exploring music from every angle. This versatility has opened doors to a wide variety of musical genres and collaborations, and it has enriched my own style and voice as a performer. Beyond the technical skills, what truly matters to me is the emotional connection. Music is one of the few things that can instantly bridge gaps between strangers, cultures, and generations. When I’m performing, I’m not just playing notes — I’m telling a story, sharing a piece of myself, and inviting others into that space. I’ve always strived to be present, authentic, and emotionally available in every performance. Engaging with the crowd, feeling their energy, and responding in the moment is what brings a live show to life. Punctuality and professionalism are also values I hold dear. I believe in respecting the people I work with and the audiences who come to see me. Being on time, being prepared, and delivering consistent, heartfelt performances are all part of what it means to be a true artist. Looking back, I feel grateful for the journey so far — the lessons learned, the people I’ve met, and the music I’ve shared. But I also feel like I’m just getting started. There’s still so much to explore, so many stages to play, and so many songs to write. Music continues to inspire me every day, and I’m excited to see where it leads next.

James and Luciya were such a blessing when they ministered at our recent youth event. From the very start, they carried a genuine heart for worship and connected so well with the young people. Their ability to create an atmosphere where everyone felt comfortable to engage and encounter God was truly special. Their vocals and musical skills were excellent, but even more powerful was the authenticity and humility they brought to the stage. It was clear they weren’t just performing—they were leading worship with purpose and intention. The youth responded so well—many were singing, lifting their hands, and fully participating. James and Luciya’s ministry made a real impact, and several young people even shared how moved they felt afterward. We’re so grateful to have had them with us and would absolutely love to have them back again in the future. Highly recommended for any event!

I had the pleasure of booking James and Luciya for a 60th birthday music concert, as the celebrant wanted to do something a little different for their special day—and they did not disappoint! From the moment they arrived—punctual and fully prepared—they brought a warm and joyful energy that instantly set the tone. Their chemistry on stage was so natural, and it was clear they genuinely enjoy performing together. They had the crowd completely engaged, with people clapping, singing along, and truly soaking in the music. Their vocals were beautifully polished, the musicianship was tight, and their stage presence made the whole experience feel personal and heartfelt. It was a truly memorable evening, and James and Luciya’s talent, professionalism, and ability to connect with the audience made it all the more special. I would absolutely recommend them for any event!

The unique blend of skilled instrumentalist and engaging vocalist creates a dynamic, unforgettable experience.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I’ve performed at a wide variety of venues, from intimate events and vibrant restaurants to prestigious stages. Highlights include major performances at iconic locations such as the Royal Albert Hall, where I’ve brought energy, versatility, and memorable music experiences to diverse audiences across different settings.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

My musical style has been shaped by a range of inspiring artists, including the smooth jazz mastery of George Benson, the genre-blending creativity of FKJ, and the groove-driven brilliance of Marcus Miller. Influences from gospel music also play a big role, adding soul, depth, and heartfelt expression to my unique and versatile sound.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

A standout moment in my career was performing at the legendary Royal Albert Hall, where I had the honour of playing an original piece for an artist. The combination of such a prestigious stage and the opportunity to share my own music with an engaged, high-profile audience made it an unforgettable highlight.

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes, we offer a range of versatile line-up options tailored to suit your event's size, style, and atmosphere. Our core group features bass, drums, guitar, keys, and vocals, and we perform across a variety of genres including jazz, R&B, soul, and gospel.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Please note that the price may need to be adjusted if the new timing requires us to arrive earlier, stay longer, or make changes to travel or logistics. In some cases, if the new time clashes with another booking or prior commitment, we may unfortunately have to withdraw from the event.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, we can absolutely provide an iPod/DJ-style music service before and between our live sets for an additional £100. This is a great way to keep the atmosphere going and ensure there’s no silence between performances. We’ll curate a suitable playlist to match the vibe of your event, or you’re welcome to send us your own.

How much time do you need to set up?

Our set-up time typically depends on the venue size and the number of musicians involved. On average, we ask for 1-2 hours to set up and soundcheck comfortably. Smaller venues with minimal gear may only require around 90 minutes, while larger setups, especially with full band line-ups, may need a bit longer.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Yes, we can definitely roam around while performing! We use wireless equipment such as wireless microphones and wireless guitar jacks, which give us the freedom to move through the crowd and engage with your guests. This helps create a more interactive and dynamic atmosphere.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes, absolutely! You can pick songs from our set list to tailor the performance to your taste and event vibe. We’re happy to accommodate your favorites and make sure the music fits perfectly with your occasion. Just let us know your preferences in advance!

Yes, all of the necessary equipment, including PA system and lighting is included in our quote.

Can you learn song requests before the event?
