Jaleesa 'Lady Groove' Gemerts is a qualified Neo-Soul, Hip Hop, Funk, R&B, Pop and Rock drummer who is based in London. She recently graduated with a first in performance and a 2.1 in music theory for her Bachelor of Music (Hons) degree from the London Centre of Contemporary Music and is currently pursuing a Master in Music at the University of West London. She is also a member of The Musicians Union. She is currently recording and gigging with various acts in and around London and is the drummer for Mei The Music, Them Blends and Count Counsellor, who have just released their debut EP.
