Jade Carty

Jade Alice Carty is a classically trained soprano & versatile vocalist from South Yorkshire. She is currently in her final year of her bachelor of music degree at the Royal Northern College of Music under tutelage of renowned soprano Sandra Dugdale. During her studies, Jade has been a part of many RNCM operas as an actress, solo dancer and ensemble. Furthermore, she also sung the roles of ‘Serpina’ and ‘Zerlina’ as part of RNCM opera scenes. Jade was guided to music through her love of dance at an early age. She has always been immersed in artistic direction and has never diverged elsewhere. Her variety of experiences include singing for ITV, BBC Radio Manchester and the o2 arena in London, both as a soloist and choir member. Prior to her studies at the RNCM, Jade was a performer and actress for Disneyland Paris. Her love for classical voice came from being inspired by singers such as Mary Costa and Barbara Bonney. Although Jade is initially classically trained, she has experience in a variety of genres and styles including pop, jazz and gospel, however, she has a particular love for musical theatre and crossover. After completing her music performance diploma, she gained a place at the RNCM. Whilst studying, Jade also attends Act Up North drama school and her recent credits include roles for Netflix and Paramount +.
