Jacob Ewens

My musical training began as a chorister at Westminster Abbey in 2001. As a singer I perform with some of the UK's top vocal ensembles, including The Monteverdi Choir, Tenebrae, Voces8, London Voices, Oxford Camerata and the BBC Singers. I also run my own recording company, Cellar Door Sounds, which specialises in fixing and recording live musicians for film & tv scores. As a freelance sound engineer & producer I have worked with groups including The Gesualdo Six, The Marian Consort, SANSARA and Gramophone Award-winning vocal group, Ensemble Plus Ultra. I am currently also the Music Lead at Northwold Primary School and have ample teaching experience with all ages and abilities. I am also a former organ scholar at Chelmsford Cathedral and Keble College, Oxford, have obtained my ARCO and have competent keyboard skills as well as arranging and score editing, and I also do this for clients on a freelance basis.
