Jack Patchett: Acoustic singer songwriter from Holmfirth, England. Jack was a semi-finalist in the BBC2 Young Folk Award 2016 and has played at festivals all over the UK since.
Coming from a musical family, Including the Lakeman brothers, Jack began playing classical guitar at an early age and soon moved into the realms of songwriting in his teens. He was late comer to singing and only began by singing his own compositions during his first year of university. This furthered his ability to write his own music and develop his songwriting techniques. After graduating with a first class music degree and moving to London, Jack has been performing as a solo singer/guitarist at festivals and shows all over the UK and spent lots of time developing his sound and songwriting. He now has a well rounded and balanced sound which combines his Folk roots with clever guitar techniques and compelling orchestration. His most notable performance to date was opening the Main Stage at Carnival 56 Festival, Camperdown park in 2017.
