JAM Duo

JAM Duo comprises Jules on Piano and Anne-Marie playing the Cello. The sound of piano and cello is one of the most sublime combinations in music. We perform for weddings and events all over the UK. Our repertoire is an eclectic mix of classical and contemporary music to suit all tastes and audiences. Jules Addison - Pianist Jules Addison began his musical career at Cranleigh School. Whilst studying music to A Level, Jules also learnt the organ and piano under the guidance of the eminent jazz pianist David Rees-Williams. At school, Jules was involved with the Chapel Choir, The Barbershop Octet, the School orchestra, A Glenn Miller style ‘Big Band’ whilst also taking part in a number of Chamber ensembles. Jules worked with the local village Choral Society and, when not singing in the choir, played the organ at school for the majority of chapel services. Jules went on to study music at Royal Holloway, University of London where he continued his organ studies with Jeremy Filsell. Jules often played the organ for chapel services as well as singing in both the Chapel Choir and Scola Cantorum. Alongside JAM Duo Jules runs a number of choirs in Gloucestershire as well as a location recording company. Anne-Marie Humphries - ‘Cellist Anne-Marie studied both cello and piano at the University of Sheffield under the direction of Yolanda Wrigley and Kathryn Harris. After graduating she moved to the south-west of England, to complete a PGCE at the University of Bristol graduate school. She plays the ‘cello with a wide range of orchestras across the south west and has also performed with a number of string Quartets. As well as working in the UK, Anne-Marie has toured extensively with her Cello and performed throughout Europe, most notably in Prague, Vienna and Budapest.
