Iulian Turicianu

After graduating with maximum grade his Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Violin Performance and Historical Performance, Iulian won an audition for a 2 years tutti violinist position in the Aarhus Symfoniorkester, Denmark's second biggest city. During this time he was invited to play and tour the country with some of the most representative danish baroque ensembles, like BaroqueAros, and had the opportunity to perform with Lars Ulrik Mortensen, harpsichordist in the Concerto de Copenhagen ensemble. After the contract ended, Iulian decided to move to London, to pursue his passion for baroque music by working with Catherine Martin, teacher at the RCM, and to also be a part of the dynamic and diverse musical environment that this city has to offer. Since moving to London, he's performed with many different ensembles and orchestras across London, the South East and the South West, like 'Eboracum Baroque', 'Zimmerman Band', 'Ensemble OrQuesta', 'Musica Poetica', 'Bellot Ensemble', etc. Recent highlights included performing a concerto by G. P. Telemann as a soloist with Vanbrugh Ensemble.
