Since starting solo gigging back in 2017, I have loved creating atmospheres and environments where people can have fun, relax and socialise, all while listening to and singing along to a diverse range of songs. My favourite gigs have been ones where I have interacted with my audience by taking requests towards the end of my set. I specific highlight was when my previous agent in Aus booked me for a pre-Era’s tour gig, where I got to perform Taylor Swift songs for 2 hours to a full pub worth of fans dancing and singing along. I’m not a huge Swiftie, but that night was the happiest I’ve ever felt on stage and the best feedback I’ve ever received from an audience. After a few successful years of gigging, I explored and developed my voice even further and trained as a classical soprano at The University of Melbourne. I wanted to then inspire other young singers by showing them anyone can sing no matter what age you start, so I became a qualified singing teacher, graduating from with Master of Music (Performance Teaching) in voice at Uni Melb. It was during my Masters course where I was introduced to Musical Theatre repertoire, and feel in love with this genre. In more recent years I have become a Musical Theatre performer which has been another avenue to express myself musically and physically. Highlights have included playing Glinda in The Wizard of Oz, and being in the award-winning ensemble of Chess The Musical. I absolutely love performing and love teaching singing as equally. I feel very fortunate to do what I love as a career, and feel very passionate about others being able to experience the joys of music in ways they may not have imagined.
